CALA Water Park is a large water park in Hafar Al-Batin, Saudi Arabia. Haisan (Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology), a China-based water park equipment manufacturer and supplier, delivered the project under a full-scope contract covering master planning, thematic landscape design, equipment manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
The project has a total area of 160,000 m², with the water park itself covering 50,000 m². It opened in 2026 and introduced several water ride types to the Saudi market for the first time.
Haisan delivered CALA Water Park on a full-scope basis: master planning for the site, thematic landscape design, water park equipment manufacturing, and on-site installation and commissioning — a single-source model that is unusual for a large overseas water park.
The Canyon Rafting Ride gives groups a themed rafting descent through a canyon-style structure, combining long-raft capacity with a strong scenic narrative.
A 28-metre High-Speed Slide delivers one of the fastest body-slide descents in the park, dropping riders from the top of the ride tower.
A Water Roller Coaster adds powered, undulating motion, while a Time-Space Shuttle Slide and a Waterfall Drifting Slide extend the range of descent types available to guests.
Haisan manufactured and factory-tested the Canyon Rafting Ride, Water Roller Coaster, 28-metre High-Speed Slide, Time-Space Shuttle Slide and Waterfall Drifting Slide, and produced the project's themed landscape elements.
Haisan carried out on-site installation and commissioning in Hafar Al-Batin, working through the project's desert logistics and climatic conditions ahead of the 2026 opening.
CALA Water Park is one of the largest water park projects Haisan has delivered outside China and introduced several ride types to the Saudi Arabian market for the first time. The project reflects Haisan's ability to work as a single-source partner from master planning through to commissioning on an overseas desert site.
