Lanzhou Wanda Water World (兰州万达茂水乐园) is an indoor water park inside the Wanda Mall complex in Qilihe District, Lanzhou, Gansu, China. Haisan (Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology) designed and supplied all of the park's water ride equipment, making it Wanda's first water park to use 100% domestic equipment.
The water park covers approximately 45,800 m² (about 80 mu) and opened on May 26, 2023.
Haisan designed and supplied the entire water ride equipment package for Lanzhou Wanda Water World, covering attraction design, manufacturing and installation as the park's single equipment partner.
The park's thrill core is an open Whirlwind Slide, a large trumpet funnel that drops riders into a wide bowl, paired with a Raft Boomerang Slide and a set of wide-body slides for multi-rider descents.
An Extreme River runs approximately 335 metres through the park, giving guests a long, fast-moving rapid-river circuit alongside the more relaxed drifting experience.
Indoor and outdoor Water Play Structure structures provide multi-level family play with tipping buckets and water effects, supported by a water play plaza, children's combination slides and water play features.
Haisan designed, manufactured and factory-tested the open Whirlwind Slide, Raft Boomerang Slide, wide-body slides, 335-metre Extreme River, indoor and outdoor Water Play Structure structures, water play plaza and children's attractions before delivery to Lanzhou.
Haisan handled on-site installation and commissioning for the indoor park as its single equipment supplier, ahead of the May 26, 2023 opening.
Lanzhou Wanda Water World gave the city a large indoor water park and became Wanda's first water park equipped entirely with domestic water ride equipment. For Haisan, it demonstrated the ability to design and supply a complete indoor water park package at large scale for a national commercial developer.
