A blower-driven wave pool that generates waves by cycling air through chambers beneath the pool floor. Wave height reaches 1.6 metres with multiple selectable patterns, and the format works for every age group - which makes it the most family-friendly attraction in a wave pool range.

The Pneumatic Wave Pool - listed in Haisan's range as the Wave Pool (Pneumatic) - is an artificial wave-making method that uses a blower to blow air continuously into chambers beneath the pool, forming different wave shapes. The system is the gentler of the two mainstream wave-making technologies and is designed to be suitable for all ages, and especially for family players.
Air is drawn from the pool surface and driven by a centrifugal blower into a series of air chambers, each of which discharges into the pool through grilles set into the floor. Because the blower output can be modulated, the pool can produce a full sequence of wave forms - from a gentle swell to a taller, choppier wave - simply by changing the cycle. Riders experience fighting against the waves, surfing the rapids and floating on the swell, delivering the excitement and comfort of swimming in open water in a controlled environment. System control is available both from a central control room and from a field panel at the poolside.
A pneumatic installation requires a pool area of at least 800 square metres, and blower power is selected from 37, 45 or 55 kW according to the pool size and the wave output required. The wave height reaches up to 1.6 metres, which is deliberately lower than a vacuum wave pool: the smaller wave and the wider pattern set are what make the pneumatic system suitable for families with children and for parks that want a wave pool rather than a wave thrill ride.
Pneumatic Wave Pool is engineered as a complete water-retaining structure, combining a reinforced concrete or steel pool shell, waterproofing, balance tanks, overflow galleries and a closed-loop water treatment system. Pumps, filtration and disinfection are sized to the unit's flow demand so water clarity and hygiene are maintained through peak attendance, and all wetted components are selected for corrosion resistance in continuously chlorinated water. Because the wave engine is air-driven rather than water-driven, the pneumatic system requires a smaller plant room and a lower installed power load than a vacuum wave pool of comparable size, which reduces both capital cost and running cost.
Pneumatic Wave Pool is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
Haisan supplies Pneumatic Wave Pool as part of a full-process package covering concept and layout design, structural calculation, manufacture, shipping, on-site installation, plumbing and electrical works, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support. Because equipment is engineered in modules, delivery and installation can be phased to match the park's construction programme.
