Haisan's newest multi-season water ride. A conveyor lifts the car tier by tier, with a drifting run between each lift, before the final descent dives off the top - a coaster-style climb-and-dive sequence that runs outside the traditional water park season.

The Water Coaster is Haisan's latest multi-season water amusement product, developed around the current amusement market environment. Its purpose is to break the seasonal constraint that limits conventional water park attractions: because the ride uses a conveyor to lift riders rather than relying solely on tower height and a single descent, it can be operated as a four-season attraction rather than a summer-only one.
The car, carrying four to six riders, is lifted by a conveyor. After each level is lifted, it drifts along the water trough for a certain distance before being lifted again, so the ride is built from a sequence of alternating climbs and drifting runs rather than a single continuous descent. The car eventually runs to the highest point of the equipment, then slides along the chute and accelerates into a dive, giving riders a rapid and exciting descent at the end of a long, varied circuit. The tiered structure is what distinguishes the ride: it produces a much longer experience than the operating height alone would suggest.
Operating height ranges from 4.8 to 12.3 metres, which is modest for a ride of this duration, and the occupied area ranges from 1,000 to 3,600 square metres depending on layout. Capacity is 150 to 360 persons per hour with four to six riders per car. The combination of a low operating height, a substantial footprint and a long ride circuit makes the Water Coaster well suited to sites where land is available but structure height is limited - and the enclosed, conveyor-driven format supports operation outside the peak summer season.
Water Coaster is produced at Haisan's manufacturing base in Guangdong, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and operates fibreglass moulding lines, RTM (resin transfer moulding) equipment and five-axis CNC gantry machining. Slide flumes are built from fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for a smooth, low-friction running surface with consistent wall thickness, while tower and support structures are fabricated from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist corrosion in permanent outdoor service. Each flume section is checked for thickness and joint alignment and is dry-assembled in the factory before shipment, so on-site erection is fast and predictable.
Water Coaster is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
Haisan supplies Water Coaster as part of a full-process package covering concept and layout design, structural calculation, manufacture, shipping, on-site installation, plumbing and electrical works, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support. Because equipment is engineered in modules, delivery and installation can be phased to match the park's construction programme.
