the country's first holographic-illusion water amusement equipment.
The Sky Eye Slide combines two ideas that are rarely paired: a 360-degree circular slide geometry and a holographic illusion space. The result is a domestic first for China - a water slide in which the ride experience is as much visual as physical. From outside the flume, the circular form reads as a giant eye, giving the attraction a highly recognisable silhouette that parks use as an icon.
Riders board a five-person raft at 18 metres and travel through a circular flume whose interior is animated by holographic projection and lighting. Instead of the dark or plain walls of a conventional enclosed slide, riders pass through an immersive moving image, so the descent becomes a story sequence as well as a physical thrill. The visual illusion and the ride motion reinforce each other, producing an experience that is hard to describe and therefore highly shareable.
The attraction occupies only about 1,100 square metres, a small footprint for a signature ride, which makes it practical to install inside an existing slide cluster or as a standalone feature near a park entrance. Capacity is approximately 360 persons per hour at a platform height of 18 metres, so the Sky Eye Slide works both as a headline attraction and as a high-visibility crowd magnet in a compact area.
Sky Eye Slide is produced at Haisan's manufacturing base in Guangdong, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and operates fibreglass moulding lines, RTM (resin transfer moulding) equipment and five-axis CNC gantry machining. Slide flumes are built from fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for a smooth, low-friction running surface with consistent wall thickness, while tower and support structures are fabricated from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist corrosion in permanent outdoor service. Each flume section is checked for thickness and joint alignment and is dry-assembled in the factory before shipment, so on-site erection is fast and predictable.
Sky Eye Slide is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
Haisan supplies Sky Eye Slide as part of a full-process package covering concept and layout design, structural calculation, manufacture, shipping, on-site installation, plumbing and electrical works, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support. Because equipment is engineered in modules, delivery and installation can be phased to match the park's construction programme.
