The High Tower Slide — branded in Haisan’s domestic market as the Warrior High Tower — is a vertical multi-slide complex designed, manufactured and installed by Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology for water parks that need one iconic structure to anchor their thrill line-up. The tower rises 80 metres above ground and carries 11 slides on a single steel structure, with launch platforms positioned from 11 to 50 metres. Its first flagship installation, the Future Tower at Hangzhou Tianmu Future Valley Water World, is the first facility of this type in China and the second of its kind worldwide, and is promoted as the tallest water slide structure in the Yangtze River Delta.
Eleven slides are densely arranged around the tower shaft, covering a differentiated difficulty gradient from family-friendly runs to extreme drops. The reference configuration combines double parallel raft slides (approx. 136 m each), an Interstellar Slide (approx. 120 m), a Flying Dragon coiling slide (approx. 75 m), an open-face Whirlwind Slide (approx. 122 m), a Tornado Bowl with dragon-tail coiling slide (approx. 106 m), a 28-Metre High-Speed Slide (approx. 100 m), three body slides of approx. 360 m, 146 m and 152 m, and a 460-metre body Spiral Slide. Ride modes include single-rider body slides and two- and four-person rafts, so one tower serves the full guest spectrum from teenagers to thrill seekers.
The tower is built from a hot-dip galvanized steel framework with fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) slide sections. Body slides are produced with RTM (resin transfer moulding) technology for consistent wall thickness and surface quality, and selected sections use a natural light-transmitting process that admits daylight into enclosed flumes. The structure and rides are designed in accordance with Chinese national standards GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Hot-dip galvanizing significantly improves corrosion resistance and extends service life under continuous outdoor operation.
The internal core shaft is equipped with an elevator system that connects the functional levels, allowing guests to return to the top without climbing stairs and enabling fast visitor flow distribution, higher operational throughput and safe, comfortable circulation. By coupling 11 slides onto one tower body, the design compresses the land area that conventional scattered slide layouts would require, releasing extra entertainment capacity within a compact footprint while keeping the visual impact of a single architectural landmark.
Production takes place at Haisan’s manufacturing base, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and includes five-axis CNC gantry processing and RTM production lines. Each slide section is moulded, trimmed, inspected for thickness and joint alignment, and test-assembled in the factory before shipment. The steel tower modules are fabricated with corrosion protection and pre-installed lifting points to simplify on-site assembly.
Haisan supplies the High Tower Slide as part of its full-process service, covering foundation review, tower erection, slide installation, plumbing, commissioning and operator training, followed by post-opening inspection and maintenance guidance. Because the tower is engineered in modules, installation can be staged to suit the surrounding park construction schedule.
The flagship installation is the Future Tower at Hangzhou Tianmu Future Valley Water World in Lin’an, Hangzhou, which opened on June 18, 2026, where Haisan acted as the general equipment contractor. The tower is positioned for parks that want a visual landmark, a complete difficulty gradient of rides and a high-capacity thrill hub concentrated in one structure.
