The Super Rolling Slide is a rotating water slide that stands apart from conventional raft slides. It is the only water slide of its kind in the market, and its unique, majestic form makes it an instant landmark within a water park. Because the rotation is visible from outside the flume, the slide doubles as a photo spot and a marketing image that parks use on tickets, wayfinding and social media.
Riders board a four-person raft and are carried through a rolling, rotating flume in which the ride direction reverses during the run. The combination of forward and backward travel produces a motion that conventional slides cannot replicate: riders feel the raft roll, spin and slide back on itself while water and gravity take over. The effect is a sustained, disorienting thrill that keeps guests queuing for repeat rides.
The ride is built on a 12.5-metre platform and occupies approximately 3,000 square metres, giving the rotating flume the room it needs for its signature geometry. The low platform height relative to the thrill level makes the Super Rolling Slide an efficient use of vertical space, and it can be integrated into a shared tower with other Haisan slides to build a compact, high-capacity attraction cluster.
Super Rolling Slide is produced at Haisan's manufacturing base in Guangdong, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and operates fibreglass moulding lines, RTM (resin transfer moulding) equipment and five-axis CNC gantry machining. Slide flumes are built from fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for a smooth, low-friction running surface with consistent wall thickness, while tower and support structures are fabricated from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist corrosion in permanent outdoor service. Each flume section is checked for thickness and joint alignment and is dry-assembled in the factory before shipment, so on-site erection is fast and predictable.
Super Rolling Slide is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
