Two storm slides sharing one 20.8-metre platform, one falling pool and one conveyor - the newest thrill combination in Haisan's range. Riders get sudden weightlessness on the drop and then run the outer wall of the flume at speed.
two thrill slides launched from a single structure to cut build and running costs.
the entry drop into the flume creates a genuine free-fall sensation.
gravity and inertia drive the raft up the ring and along the steep outer wall.
clockwise and counter-clockwise flumes deliver a different ride each time.
This combination pairs the Interstella Spiral Slide with the Giant Wave Rolling Slide - Haisan's newest storm-slide formats - on a single shared platform at 20.8 metres. Sharing the platform, the falling pool and the conveyor keeps construction and running costs down while raising the visitor experience: guests get two distinct high-thrill rides from one structure and one queue line.
On the Giant Wave Rolling side, riders descend in a four-person raft and fall from the entrance into the flume to experience a feeling of weightlessness. Gravity then drives the raft into the ring and steep slope, where it rotates and slides rapidly along the outer end wall. On the Interstella Spiral side, riders drop into the flume for a sudden moment of weightlessness before inertia drives the raft up a circular steep slope, rotating and running along the outer wall at speed; the clockwise and counter-clockwise turning flumes give the two directions an entirely different feel.
Both slides start from the same 20.8-metre platform and discharge into a common falling pool, with a conveyor returning rafts to the top and a compact 1,200-square-metre footprint. Because the two flumes sit side by side, the combination reads as one large, dramatic attraction, which increases its visual weight in the park without doubling the structural cost.
Interstella Spiral Slide + Giant Wave Rolling Slide Combination is produced at Haisan's manufacturing base in Guangdong, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and operates fibreglass moulding lines, RTM (resin transfer moulding) equipment and five-axis CNC gantry machining. Slide flumes are built from fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for a smooth, low-friction running surface with consistent wall thickness, while tower and support structures are fabricated from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist corrosion in permanent outdoor service. Each flume section is checked for thickness and joint alignment and is dry-assembled in the factory before shipment, so on-site erection is fast and predictable.
Interstella Spiral Slide + Giant Wave Rolling Slide Combination is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
Haisan supplies Interstella Spiral Slide + Giant Wave Rolling Slide Combination as part of a full-process package covering concept and layout design, structural calculation, manufacture, shipping, on-site installation, plumbing and electrical works, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support. Because equipment is engineered in modules, delivery and installation can be phased to match the park's construction programme.
