A large-scale family raft slide built around twin semi-open trumpet sections and a themed valley setting. Groups of five ride together through a sequence of rises and falls that mimics drifting down a mountain valley.

family-friendly appeal with mid-to-high throughput.
The Waterfall Drifting Slide is designed as a shared family experience rather than a solo thrill. It is one of Haisan's newest large-scale family amusement slides, and its defining feature is a pair of semi-open trumpet sections - the wide, flared flume shapes that let a raft climb and drop along the walls while remaining visible from the surrounding park.
Visitors ride in groups of five from the top of the 19-metre tower. The twin trumpet sections produce a sequence of ups and downs as the raft swings across each flared wall, giving the sensation of drifting through and over a waterfall rather than simply descending a chute. The half-open geometry keeps the ride bright and social: groups can see and hear each other, which is exactly what makes the format popular with families.
The slide is conceived together with a themed packaging backdrop, so the structure is intended to be dressed to suit the surrounding area - rockwork, planting and water effects that reinforce the valley-drifting story. The ride occupies approximately 2,500 square metres and runs at a theoretical 360 persons per hour, sizing it as a mid-to-high capacity family anchor rather than a low-throughput feature.
Waterfall Drifting Slide is produced at Haisan's manufacturing base in Guangdong, which covers more than 100,000 square metres and operates fibreglass moulding lines, RTM (resin transfer moulding) equipment and five-axis CNC gantry machining. Slide flumes are built from fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) for a smooth, low-friction running surface with consistent wall thickness, while tower and support structures are fabricated from hot-dip galvanized steel to resist corrosion in permanent outdoor service. Each flume section is checked for thickness and joint alignment and is dry-assembled in the factory before shipment, so on-site erection is fast and predictable.
Waterfall Drifting Slide is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 8408-2018 (Safety Code for Large Amusement Devices), GB/T 18164-2020, GB/T 18168-2017 (General Technical Conditions for Water Amusement Facilities) and TSG 71-2023 (Safety Technical Regulations for Large Amusement Devices). Haisan holds the manufacturing and installation licences required for large amusement devices, and every unit passes in-factory testing and on-site commissioning before handover.
Haisan supplies Waterfall Drifting Slide as part of a full-process package covering concept and layout design, structural calculation, manufacture, shipping, on-site installation, plumbing and electrical works, commissioning, operator training and long-term after-sales support. Because equipment is engineered in modules, delivery and installation can be phased to match the park's construction programme.
