Hangzhou Parallel World Water Park (杭州平行世界乐园) is the water park of a large-scale science-fiction themed resort complex in Chaoshan, Linping District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The water park equipment was designed, manufactured and installed by Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology (Haisan), a China-based water park equipment manufacturer and supplier.
The overall complex has a total building area of roughly 310,000 m² and represents an investment of around 6 billion RMB. The water park itself covers more than 30,000 m² of play area and entered trial operation on July 3, 2026.
Haisan designed the water park's equipment layout to match the complex's parallel-universe science-fiction theme, and supplied the full attraction range — from high-thrill launch rides to themed water play structures and drifting attractions — as a single water park equipment partner.
The ride centrepiece is the Hydromagnetic Rocket, a magnetic-launch water coaster that drives riders uphill and through the themed storyline rather than relying on gravity alone. It is joined by the Sky Eye Slide, a large-diameter ring slide, and the Time-Space Vortex, a funnel-style whirlwind slide that drops riders into a revolving vortex.
A composite wave pool generates multiple wave types for the main water-play plaza. The Interstellar Water House provides multi-level interactive play, while the Galaxy Drifting River circles the park as a slow-float experience. Children's slides and water play features complete the family offer.
Haisan manufactured and factory-tested the key attractions, including the Hydromagnetic Rocket water coaster, Sky Eye Slide, Time-Space Vortex, composite wave pool, Interstellar Water House and Galaxy Drifting River, applying themed finishes consistent with the resort's science-fiction setting.
Haisan completed on-site installation, commissioning and water-system testing ahead of the water park's July 3, 2026 trial operation, coordinating with the complex's construction and fit-out programme.
Hangzhou Parallel World brings a fully themed indoor-and-outdoor water park into a large mixed-use entertainment complex serving the eastern Hangzhou market. For Haisan, the project shows how a themed narrative can be translated into a coordinated equipment package spanning water coasters, ring slides, wave pools and themed water play structures.
