Qingdao Oriental Eden (青岛东方伊甸园) is an ecology-themed tourism and resort project on Torch Road in the Qingdao High-tech Zone, Qingdao, Shandong, China. Its water play park was designed and equipped by Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology (Haisan), a China-based water park equipment manufacturer and supplier.
The project occupies approximately 1,200 mu in total, with a 400-mu core area and around 47,000 m² of building area, and opened on June 28, 2025.
Haisan took on the concept design of the water play park, the planning of its equipment layout and the supply of all water play equipment, aligning the attraction mix with the project's ecological theme.
The park's signature ride is the Sky Eye Slide, a large-diameter ring slide that uses 360-degree holographic projection to transform the ride enclosure into a circular visual experience.
A giant dragon-shaped slide structure winds through the water play zone, combining a themed sculptural form with a multi-lane slide course.
A wave pool capable of generating eight different wave types forms the centre of the water play area, supported by a Happy Water Play Structure and a set of children's slides and water play features.
Haisan designed, manufactured and factory-tested the Sky Eye Slide, dragon slide structure, multi-wave-type wave pool, Water Play Structure and children's water play equipment before delivery to Qingdao.
Haisan handled on-site installation and commissioning of the water play systems ahead of the project's June 28, 2025 opening.
Qingdao Oriental Eden combines an ecology-themed attraction with a full water play park, showing how a themed narrative can shape the design of a water attraction mix. For Haisan, the project brought concept design, equipment planning and manufacturing supply together in a single scope.
