Seven Seas Water Park is a pirate-themed outdoor water park in Opol, Misamis Oriental, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines. The park's water rides were built and supplied by Guangdong Haisan Amusement Technology (Haisan), a China-based water park equipment manufacturer and supplier.

The park opened in late 2017 and combines a pirate-ship design language with a wave pool complex, a 400-metre drifting river and more than twelve water slides.

Haisan's Role

Haisan built and equipped Seven Seas Water Park, supplying the water ride and wave pool systems under an overseas delivery and installation contract.

Slides and Thrill Attractions

The slide line-up includes the Cyclone, a large funnel slide, and Plank Drop and Escape Tunnel for fast, enclosed descents. Pacific Racer provides multi-lane racing, while Pira-Chute, Cutlass and Cannonball Run add further body-slide options.

Wave Pools and River

Twin wave pools form the centre of the park, one of them anchored by a pirate ship structure. The Mighty Maui River gives guests an approximately 400-metre drifting river ride, while Buccaneer Bay and Riptide Reef provide water play and splash areas for families.

Equipment and Manufacturing

Haisan manufactured and factory-tested the park's slides — including Cyclone, Plank Drop, Pacific Racer, Pira-Chute, Escape Tunnel, Cutlass and Cannonball Run — together with the twin wave pools and the Mighty Maui River before shipping them to the Philippines.

Installation and Commissioning

Haisan supervised on-site installation and commissioning in Misamis Oriental as part of the overseas project delivery, working with the local operator to bring the park into service.

Project Result

Seven Seas Water Park was among the first large water parks in Northern Mindanao and helped establish Haisan water park equipment in the Southeast Asian market. The project shows Haisan's ability to deliver and install a complete slide and wave pool package for an overseas operator.
